America begins its year-long countdown to presidential elections with the very real possibility Barack Obama could be a one-term president.
The election in 2008 may have been the most exciting for years culminating in the country's first black president but three years on, most Americans believe he will not be re-elected, according to some polls.
We followed Mr Obama's route through North Carolina last month to gauge his chances.

They will have the ground troops...and that's one of the reasons for the OCCUPY movement..it's called organizing. Having been on the left as a political/union/community organizer, I can attest one seasoned organizer could run circles around 100 of my fellow Tea Partiers.
They know how to do mass voter registration (I've done it myself for the UFW in Cali.), experts at organizing volunteers, holding rallies (ie on campuses), knocking on doors, exciting their base, joining w/ other libs, & getting out the vote.
